We will never use another vet! We have always taken all three of our dogs to Animal Clinic of Brandon and have always been thrilled with how they treat them. The staff is incredibly friendly and I trust the advice of all three of the doctors.
Recently, we took our eldest dog, Cinny (16 years old), to see an arthritis specialist to have cool laser therapy done on her hips. After two sessions, Cinny started displaying odd symptoms, the most pronounced of which was that she could no longer walk straight, she could only walk in right circles. At her next laser treatment, we told the vet about her symptoms and he said that there was nothing he could do, she was just old and sometimes wires in their brain get crossed. We spent the next month watching Cinny slowly fade away, she lost 20% of her body weight and could no longer stand, walk, eat, or drink on her own. She wouldn't even lift her head when we walked into the room.
Finally, we took Cinny back to the Animal Clinic of Brandon assuming we needed to put her down, she had no quality of life anymore. After telling Dr. D about what the other vet said about not being able to fix her, he took a quick look at her and realized she had a horrible ear infection. Dr. D flushed her ears, prescribed antibiotics, and applied an ear ointment. The next morning, Cinny woke up alert and bright-eyed, stood up on her own and walked unassisted to the backyard.
Dr. D and the staff at Animal Clinic of Brandon quite literally saved Cinny's life.
